If you are missing a single tooth, a number of teeth or all your natural teeth, dental implants may be used to replace your missing teeth. Dental implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium that are placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge.
Implant surgery can be performed in our clinic under local anaesthetic injection. We can also perform this treatment in hospital under either intravenous sedation or general anaesthesia.
Dental implants function by being intimately connected with the gum tissues and underlying jaw bone in the mouth. As periodontists are the dental experts who specialise in precisely these areas, they are ideal members of your dental implant team. Dr Sethi spends most of him clinical time performing aesthetically pleasing dental implant treatments.
