All Teeth replacement

Including All-on-4

One of the options for patients who need a full arch replacement is a technique called ‘All-on-4’ or ‘All on 6’, which refers to the use of 4 or 6 dental implants to support a full prosthesis. It is ideal for patients who have few or no teeth and are looking for a permanent restoration. This modern technique has several benefits in comparison to other techniques.

  • Unlike traditional dentures, you won’t have to worry about your teeth moving when you eat or speak, making it easier to eat your favourite foods and live a normal day-to-day life.
  • When done correctly, ‘All-on-4’ lasts a very long time, making it a great long-term investment.
  • Because they are implants, the ‘All-on-4’ technique also supports the jaw bone and prevents bone loss by stimulating the bone in the same way a natural tooth would.
  • Due to there being only four or six implants per jaw, it is easier for the patient to clean and maintain.

The process for a patient getting ‘All-on-4’ is similar to the process for getting a single-tooth dental implant. The first step is to visit the practice for a consultation with Dr Sethi, where he will assess if you are a candidate for ‘All-on-4’ through examining your mouth and taking x-rays. If you are a good candidate, you will receive a treatment plan with explanations and quotes for each step of the process.
